Pulsations in high time resolution SHARE data.

J.A.E STEPHENSON and A.D.M. WALKER
University of Natal, South Africa.

Very high velocities (> 1kms-1) were recorded by the SHARE radar in the nightside magnetosphere on 29 April 1997. The magnetic conditions were extremely quiet during, and leading up to, this period. The SHARE radar was in a mode that monitored a beam (number 5) at a high time resolution. Fourier analysis of the velocities along this beam resulted in spectra which extend to 25 mHZ. An interpretation of these spectra is given.
