Status of Next Generation Operating Software

The newest version of the RADOPS operating software has been completed and is currently being used on the Goose Bay, Kapuskasing, Kodiak, and CUTLASS radars. This software offers a number of new features including the ability to run STEREO modes on the radars. The new software also has a modified form for radar control programs that requires all special and discretionary operating modes to be rewritten. In this presentation, we describe the main features of the new software package. We also present a tentative schedule for the full deployment of the new software package.
